Position Papers
Over the years, I’ve enjoyed reading and studying about certain theological topics and writing a brief position paper about what it seems to me that the Bible says about a certain topic. Of course, this is an important exercise for all Christians because if the Bible is the inspired Word of God, you should be able to discern what it’s saying about certain topics. If it is the inspired Word of God, then we should be able to use common Biblical Interpretation principles and find out where the Bible lands on topics. In addition, once a Position Paper has been written, although some may disagree, standing on the Word of God as reliable and trustworthy is an important Biblical concept.
Here are a few of the topics I’ve written about. I’d love to hear any disagreements or comments!

ESV Bible
This topic is one that I get a lot, because apparently I’m around a lot of people that are using the NIV. Two Resources for you here, both not my own, mainly because I couldn’t have communicated any better the deep value that the ESV Bible brings to both the amateur and expert Bible Teacher. The first resource is a booklet by Kevin DeYoung, Senior Pastor of University Reformed Church in Michigan. This booklet would be very valuable for those who want to know why so many English Speaking Pastors and Biblical Scholars are switching from the NIV to the ESV.

The second resource is a series of video testimonies from some of the top Pastors and Ministry Leaders in the English speaking world on what they think of the ESV Bible.

Principles of Biblical Interpretation
Not really a ‘paper,’ these principals of Biblical interpretation should help anyone be able to interpret Scripture accurately!
