New Blog Series: How much do we know about the enemy?
Hi Friends! Good day here today… it’s my son’s 20th birthday and I’m being a little sentimental today. So many memories over the last 20 years!
This is a quick mini-blog post to announce the beginning of a new blog series from me. Over the last 5 years or so, I have noticed more opposition in my life and ministry than I have before, and while I know that Satan comes only to ‘steal and kill and destroy’[1] and that he ‘prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour,’[2] I also know that his power and ability to disrupt is limited. So, let’s investigate that together…. What power does he have? Where are those limits? And what can we do to resist him and keep him at bay in our lives?
I think this will be a great study for us all, and I hope we talk away with a lot more understanding about our enemy and how to defeat him in our lives. I do believe that knowledge and understanding in this area is helpful, especially to be able to detect when he is fighting us in an area of our lives. I want to better be able to detect it and snuff it out and quickly get to the victory side of the equation. Looking forward to taking this journey with you all, and thanks for joining me!
One more thing for you all today…. If you a fan of good content, at One Eight Catalyst, we’re really beginning to heat up in our quest to create resources and deliver training that leads to spiritual growth. There are two main places I’ll suggest you go to receive content from us as we develop it.
The first place is to subscribe to our One Eight Catalyst blog. You can do that by clicking on this link and subscribing to get our blog content via email. This blog will have useful content that you can share with others and use in your own walk with Christ.
The second place I’d suggest you go is to subscribe to our YouTube Channel. We are currently producing new content that I think you’ll really like. Our goal here is to create high quality, easily shareable content that enables Christians to reach their world for Christ. Thank you for joining us in our journey, and I’m looking forward to seeing many of you on the OEC side of our work!
